Soup Restaurant

I was back at Seah Street today for dinner at Soup Restaurant. It has been quite some time since I ate at Soup Restaurant. As usual, I ordered their signature dishes, Samsui Chicken and Penang Fried Mee Suah. Needless to say, their Samsui Chicken is indeed very tender, even the skin is so soft and silky. The chicken goes very well with their homemade ginger sauce. You can also eat the chicken wrapped in cabbage. The cabbage makes the texture a little more crunchy and juicy giving it a refreshing taste. The Penang Fried Mee Suah it is very tasty. You can find ingredients like chicken, eggs, prawns, bean sprouts, onions and mushrooms. Overall, I find that the food is pretty good and you can check out this place especially if you have craving for chicken rice.

Sin Swee Kee Chicken Rice Restaurant

It has been quite a while since I had time to check out new food. I was at Seah Street today for dinner and I remembered having chicken rice at one of the shophouses there many years back. I decided to check out the chicken rice at this Sin Swee Kee Chicken Rice Restaurant. I ordered half a Chicken and a plate of Hongkong Kailan with Oyster Sauce. The chicken was delicious, it was tasty and tender even tough it was breast meat. The rice was soft and fragrant, it tastes good even on it's own. It was even better than I had expected. The ginger and chilli sauce goes well with the chicken, the chilli sauce was a little spicy and it added more flavour to the chicken. The ginger was fragrant and very tasty, it tastes like the one at Soup Restaurant. As for the Hongkong Kailan with Oyster Sauce, I find that it was pretty normal. Overall, I find that the Chicken Rice is one of the better ones I have ever tasted.
